Be sure to read this article to better understand the table view. Continue reading here to learn how to find the total hours worked by a team member during a specific period, using an example.
Example:
You want to know how many hours a team member worked in the month of January.
Make sure the columns are grouped by team member, so that all time entries for each team member will be displayed together.
Select the period you want to view in the top-left corner. In this example, select Month.
⚠️ Note: If you select a custom period, you can view a maximum of 2 months at a time. Do you want to view hours over a longer period? In that case, it is best to create an Excel export.
Select January:
You will now see all recorded hours for each team member in January. The overview immediately shows the total number of hours recorded for each team member during this period.
Click on a team member's name to expand the row and view all individual time entries by date.
If you only want to view the information of one or a few team members, you can use the filter to quickly display their data:
Click the team member filter and select the relevant team member(s).
Grouping might not be necessary in this case.
