Eitje offers a useful tool to distribute tips evenly. It is available to Admins as well as the roles 'Manager' and 'Approve hours'. This article explains how it works.

The 'Tips' tool is free to use during this phase. We’re currently exploring how to offer it in the final version, which may become a paid feature. These details are still to be determined.
All you need to use this tool, is the total amount of tips you wish to distribute. You can find the 'Tips' tool under ‘Hours’ in the top menu:
Which hours count?
To distribute tips, the system looks at the number of hours worked per team member. This ensures that team members who worked more hours receive a larger share.
Eitje checks how many hours each team member worked during the selected period. First, it uses 'approved' hours. If none are available, it uses hours with the status 'pending' or 'scheduled' instead.
It’s a good idea to double-check your time registration before distributing tips. This helps ensure, for example, that no one has 'scheduled' hours for a day they didn’t actually work.
How does the distribution work?
Here’s how tip distribution works with Eitje’s tool:
Open the tool:
Use 'Hours' in the menu at the top to navigate to 'Tips'.
Venues:
If you work with multiple venues, first select the venue you want to distribute tips for. Tip distribution is done per venue.
If team members work across multiple venues, they will be included in the distribution for each venue.
If you only work with one venue, the option to select a venue will not be shown.
Teams:
By default all teams will be selected. If there's any team that should not be part of the distribution of tips, you can deselect it.
Period:
Select the dates for the period you want to distribute tips for.
Amount of tips:
Enter the total amount of tips you wish to distribute for the selected period.
Results:
Once all fields are completed, the distribution will automatically appear on your screen.
In the overview, you can deselect any team member you don’t want to include in the distribution. The calculation will update instantly.
This overview is not saved, so you cannot access it later or export it to Excel. You can, of course, take a screenshot if needed.
