This is what clocking activities look like in the time registration.
While clocked in
As soon as team members clock in, an hour entry appears in the time registration. As long as the shift is ongoing, the clock keeps running.
You can also clock out, or remove an ongoing activity from the time registration. You can do this both in the app and web version.
After the clocking activity
After the shift, the team members clock out. The worked hours then immediately appear in Eitje. These hours require approval. The worked hours are adjusted to the rounding settings if these have been configured.
It may occur that you see a warning message in the time registration:
"Automatically clocked out by our time clock."
This means that the team member has forgotten to clock out, and that Eitjeopdevloer has done this automatically at a certain time.
➡️ This time can be set in the settings of the time registration.
The number of worked hours becomes 0, because Eitje does not know how long the team member has actually worked, and wants to avoid too many hours to be registered. Therefore, it changes the 'clocked out' time to the 'clocked in' time, creating 0 hours. It is important that these hours are adjusted before they are approved.
⚠️ Note: In case you need a specific team member to not be clocked out automatically, you can adjust this in the settings.
Labour cost of clocked hours
In the financial overview in the app, and in the revenue in the time registration, you immediately see the labour costs of the shift, based on the current clocked hours. With this information, you can make live adjustments if necessary.
