Is someone going to leave the team? You can then mark their profile as inactive in Eitje.
Mark profile as inactive
You can remove someone as an active team member in the overview of team members:
At the top, navigate to 'Team' > 'Team members'.
Click on the name of the leaving team member.
Choose 'Mark as inactive'.
If this team member is part of more than one venue, you can choose if this person is leaving a specific venue, or leaving the entire organisation.
You can now add a future date for this team member to become inactive, or choose to do this with immediate effect.
If a team member has any scheduled shifts after the selected date, you can choose to convert these into open shifts on your planning, and send a request to the team to pick up these shifts.
A few important things to take into account:
You are invoiced per active team member. An active team member is a team member who, at least once a month:
logged into Eitje or;
has a scheduled shift on the planning or;
has any hour entries.
If you want to avoid paying for certain team members, you can end their employment (temporarily), making sure there are no future hour entries or scheduled shifts. You can always reactivate their profile if necessary.
If you use an integration with Loket or Employes, keep in mind that a team member's profile will not automatically be inactive in Eitje when you end their employment in the HR system. This needs to be done in both tools. Since the HR system is leading when it comes to team members and contracts, you have to end the employment in the HR system first, then in Eitje. The same applies to Nmbrs and Fooks, but you have an option to automate this process. Learn more in the these articles: Nmbrs, Fooks, Loket, and Employes.
If you choose to not convert the remaining shifts into open shifts, these shifts will remain on the planning as scheduled on the inactive team member's name.
Hour entries remain in the time registration. For example if someone had an approved leave requests on a future date, these leave hours will not be automatically removed. Delete these if needed, to make sure you will not be invoiced for this team member unnecessarily.
If you want to mark one of the Admins as inactive, you need to remove the Admin role first, before you are able to mark them as inactive. You will always need at least one Admin.

Reactivate team member's profile
Did you remove a team member by accident or does an old team member want to come back to work for you? No problem! You can always reactivate a team member's profile. You cannot create a new profile with the same email address.
At the top, navigate to 'Team' to go to 'Team members'.
In the top left corner, switch from 'Active' to 'Inactive'. This will show a list of all inactive team members.
Click on the team member's name to reactivate their profile.
Click on the name of the venue to confirm.
