You can assign a default function to a team member in their profile. This function will then have priority over other functions that have been assigned to the same team member.
What is the 'default function'?
The advantage of a default function is that you do not need to add it to the shift. When you schedule a team member with a default function, the schedule will immediately show that function badge on that shift.
Example:
Claire has 'Shift leader' as her default function. Useful, as that is her role at all times.
Claire might also have other functions, but because 'Shift leader' is her default function, this is the function that will always show on the shifts she's been scheduled for.
Other team members can see that Claire is their shift leader when they check the schedule.
You do not need to add this function to her shifts manually.
โ ๏ธ Note: This will show the function on the shift and on the schedule, but it does not fully add the function to the shift. This makes no difference to the schedule, but if you, for example, want to export an overview of shifts with functions, this function will not show unless it was also added to the shift.
