Clocking system on IP address

By setting up the clocking system with an IP address, team members can use their own phone to clock in and out.

This article explains how to activate the clocking system based on an IP address. This would allow team members to use their own phone to clock in and out, as long as they are connected to the WiFi on location.

In case they are too far away from the location, and not connected to the WiFi, they cannot clock in or out.

Activate clocking system

  1. Open the web version of Eitje.

  2. Use the menu in the top right to go to 'Clocking system'.

  3. In case you work with more than one venue, select the venue first.

  4. Now choose 'Locations':

  5. If no IP address has ever been connected, this overview will be empty as in above image. Click '+ IP address'.

  6. The IP address you're connected to right now, will be entered automatically. If you are on the same WiFi for team members to use when they are on location, then this is the correct IP address.

💡 Tip: Use a website as www.ip-adres.nl to find your IP address. If needed, you can enter any IP address here.

  7. Enter a name (e.g. the name of your location) and click 'Save'.

Team members can now clock in and out using the regular Eitje app as soon as their phone is connected to the WiFi.
