Guide: Team member - Clocking system

Eitje offers a clocking system. This guide has all the information you need.

Perhaps your employer works with Eitje's clocking system. This system allows your employer to see when you started and ended your shift. This can be used on a dedicated device, or on your own phone, depending on how your employer set it up. It could also be that both options are possible.

Clocking in on a device

When you get to work, there is a tablet or a computer available to clock in. All you need is your person Time Clock PIN.

Find Time Clock PIN

  • App: Open the menu in the bottom right. At the very top of the screen you will see your own unique Time Clock PIN.

  • Web: Log in on our website and go to 'Team'. Open your own profile and find your Time Clock PIN on the bottom of the page.

Clocking in

Clocking in is very easy. When you arrive at work, just enter your PIN on the designated tablet or computer.

Then, choose 'Clock in' to start your shift, or 'Clock out' to the end your shift.

Depending on your employer's settings, you can also add how long your break was, and confirm if you had a meal.

Clocking in on your own phone

In case your employer activated the clocking system with an IP address, you can use the regular Eitje app to clock in. You do need to be connected to the WiFi on location.

As soon as you're connected to the WiFi, the option to clock in or out will appear in the app. You find it in three places:

  1. Go to 'My shifts'. On your current shift, you see the option 'Clock in'. Once clocked in, you will find the option to clock out right here as well.

  2. Also in 'My shifts', you will see a blue clock icon in the top right. This option can also be used when you're not on the schedule that day. Use the same icon to clock out later.

  3. Use the menu in the bottom right corner (three dots). On top of the screen you will find the optin 'Clock in now'. During your shift, you will see how long you've been clocked in for. Tap that timer to end your shift and clock out.

If the settings allow, when clocking out, you can indicate how much break time you had, and confirm if you had a meal.
