Export to Excel automatically

Receive your exported data automatically by email at set times.

Updated today

Why is an automatic export useful?

  • Every Monday morning at 10 a.m. you would like to send a report to the management team.

  • Every 3rd day of the month you would like to send an overview of the worked hours and days to your accountant.

  • You would like to send a monthly overview of the leave requests of all the teams to yourself and team members with the role 'Approve leave requests'.

Set up an automatic export

For each custom Excel, including the templates, you can set up an automatic export. In the menu on the left this is the last option 'Export automatically'. On this page you can see if a setting already exists. If not, use the blue button 'Add automatic export' to set it up.

  • Which period do you want to export: Receive an export of the previous, current or next period.

  • Which type of period do you want to export: Export the data of a day, week, month, quarter or whole year.

  • When do you want to send it: Choose the exact moment you wish to receive the email.

  • Who do you want to send it to: Select specific team members, for example, team members with the role 'Approve hours'.

  • External email addresses: Add external email addresses of people who do not have an account in Eitje, for example, your accountant.

You can also pause the setting and resume it again later. Click on the existing setting to find those options:

โš ๏ธ Note: This option is not available for ready-made Excels. In most cases you can create your own custom Excel containing the same data. A custom Excel always allows automatic exports.
