Assign functions and skills to team members

Once you have created skills and functions, you can now assign them to team members. A team member automatically gets a function assigned if they possess all the skills that are part of that function.

You can assign skills and functions to a team member in two different ways: either through the profile of a team member, or on the 'Skills' page.


Through team member profile

You can assign skills and functions through a team member's profile.

  1. Go to 'Team', then 'Team members'.

  2. Click on the team member to open the profile.

  3. In the menu on the left, go to 'Functions'.

  4. In the top right of the window, click 'Options', then 'Assign'.

  5. Select one of the skills, or an entire function:

You can now re​cognise this function when creating a schedule. This is not the case for a skill, only full functions:


On the skills page

  1. At the top go to 'Knowledge' and choose 'Skills'.

  2. In the top right corner, click 'Assign skills'.

  3. On top, filter on team if you like.

  4. You can now quickly assign skills and functions to all team members.

  5. If you click the checkbox next to a function, all the skills under this function will be selected. You can also assign a skill individually.
