Clocking system on dedicated decive

Activate the clocking system on one or multiple devices on location.

This article explains how you can activate the clocking system on a tablet or in the browser of a computer or laptop. Each device needs to be connected separately. You can use as many devices as needed.

Team members can use their own unique PIN to clock in only on a device that has been set up for it, and nowhere else.


Activate clocking system

  1. Open Eitje's web environment.

  2. Use the menu in the top right to go to 'Clocking system'.

  3. Do you work with multiple venues? Then first select the correct venue in the menu on the left.

  4. Now open 'Devices'.

  5. If no device was ever set up, you will see an empty overview. To get codes, click 'Generate new codes'.

  6. The codes will appear: 'Key code', 'Pairing code' and 'Venue code'.

  7. Now, download the app of our clocking system which is available in Google Play Store or App Store.

    1. ⚠️ Note: This is not the regular Eitje app. Instead, it is called 'Eitjeopdevloer',

    2. Alternatively, go to https://vloer.eitje.app to set it up in a browser.

  8. Open the app, or the website. You will now be asked for the three codes you found in step 4. Enter these codes here.

Once you have entered the codes, your team members can start clocking in with their Time Clock PIN. This PIN can not be created, but already exists in each team member's profile. Learn more about Clocking system for team members.

Multiple devices

You can activate the clocking system on multiple devices. If you have more than one tablets on your location, or perhaps venues with each their own computer, you can generate new codes for each device.

In step 4 of the previous section, click 'Generate new codes'.

⚠️ Note: the venue code is always the same. This is a specific code for your venue, making sure the hours are registered in the correct venue.


Disconnect device

An Admin can disconnect the device from the Eitje account. This is sometimes necessary in case the wrong codes were used.

  • In the clocking system, as an Admin, enter your own Time Clock PIN.

  • Now, in the top right corner, use the button with the three dots to disconnect the device.

  • If needed, you can now use the correct codes to set up this device.


Pricing

By activating and using the clocking system, you will also switch to the 'Complete' package. This means that you will be charged a higher price per team member.

There are no additional costs for connecting an extra device. You can connect as many devices as you want.
