Communication

You can communicate with your team members in Eitje, so everything stays in one place, and you no longer need different tools to pass on information. In Eitje you can post news messages on the newsfeed, and chat privately or in a group with your team members.

Newsfeed

Chat

On the newsfeed you can post news messages. You can decide for each post which teams will see it on their feed. You can also add images, videos, files, polls and articles from the handbook.

Team members can react to these posts, and leave comments. In the app, a manager or Admin can open the message statistics, to see who has read the post, and send a reminder to those have not seen it yet.

You can send messages to your team members with the chat function. You can have a 1-on-1 chat with a team member, or a group chat with a team or a group that you created yourself. Keep all the communication in one tool!

A chat window will stay open when you leave the page. This allows you to have a chat while scheduling or approving hours, which is convenient if you have to ask someone a quick question about a certain shift you want to approve.

The chat page gives a full overview of all chats, both 1-on-1 chats and group chats. Here you can also start a new chat and create a group chat.
