πŸ†• Guide: Team member - Add your shifts to your calendar

Do you want to see your shifts in your personal calendar? You can do so for Outlook, Apple and Google Calendar.

Updated today

⚠️ This guide applies to the new Eitje app, released in November 2025. Looking for the guide to the previous version of the app? Click here.

You can sync your shifts in Eitje with your personal calendar, just to be more organised. You can sync with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook.

Only your own scheduled shifts will appear in your calendar, not those of other team members, and also not your worked hours, hours of leave, or sick leave.

In the app

  1. Use the menu in the bottom right corner to go to 'Settings', then choose 'Synchronise calendar'.

  2. Tap the button 'Copy URL'. This copies the link you need to connect to your calendar.

  3. The 'Synchronise calendar' button now turns blue. Tap it.

  4. In step 2, click the button 'Open Browser'. This literally just opens your browser so that you can paste the URL into the address bar.

  5. ➑️ Apple Calendar: The browser will then ask if you want to open your Apple Calendar app.
➑️ Google Calendar: Your calendar should now give the option to "Add".

β€‹βš οΈ Note: If this link doesn't work, replace 'webcal' by 'https' in the link and try ag
β€‹βž‘οΈ Outlook: Enter your copied URL into Outlook.
β€‹βš οΈ Note: If this link doesn't work, replace 'webcal' by 'https' in the link and try again.

Want to link an iPhone to Google Calendar? Copy the URL in Eitje, and enter it using the following link: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/r/settings/addbyurl

If this does not work, we recommend logging into your calendar in the browser instead of your calendar app, and add the URL there.
