While creating schedules it is obviously very useful to know who is available on each day. Depending on your settings, your team members can submit their availability. As an Admin or Manager, you can also add or change their availability for them.
You find 'Team Availability' under 'Planning' in the main menu on top.
Options for availability
When submitting their availability, team members have three options:
Green: Available all day
Red: Unavailable all day
Orange: Unavailable at a specific time
If someone has been reported sick, you will see a pink dot. If someone is on leave, you will see a purple dot. Here you can read how to report someone sick and how to submit a leave request. A blue dot means that this team member is scheduled to work that day.

Availability in the web version
Per team member
Team members can submit availability in the web version of Eitje. To do so, they can navigate to 'My availability' under 'Planning', or they find it in 'My profile' under 'Team'. As an Admin or Manager you can everyone's availability, and make changes to it. This also works for their weekly 'Preferred number of shifts'.
Team availability
For an overview of all team members, go to 'Team availability' under 'Planning'.
You can click on the availability for each day to change it for that team member.
Click on a team member's name on the left to see their preferred number of shifts for that week.
Use the 'Show' button (top right) to determine which information you want to have shown in this overview.
By clicking on the day (the date) on top, you can manually close the availability feature for that day:
Use the 'Tools' button (top right) to go directly to the availability settings.
⚠️ Note: You cannot see when a team member submitted or adjusted their availability.
Availability feature in the app
In the menu in the top left corner, go to 'Requests'.
Choose 'Availability'.
At the top of the screen, select the week.
Click on the day for which you want to change the status.
Select the status.
Add a comment.
⚠️ Note: It may be mandatory to add a comment when changing to 'Unavailable', depending on the settings.
