When editing a past shift in the schedule, you may see the following message on the right-hand side:
This means that hours have already been registered for this shift in the time registration. In principle, there is no need to adjust the schedule for past shifts. Once hours have been registered for a specific shift, no further changes can be made to the schedule.
Any changes should be made in the time registration instead. Click on ‘View time entry’ at the bottom of the message, or go to ‘Hours’ in the top menu. Read more about this here.
Explanation:
Planning = Future (scheduled)
Hours = Past (actual)
The planning represents the scheduled hours, while the time registration records the hours actually worked. Once hours have been registered, the schedule can no longer be changed. This ensures you can always compare the planned hours with the actual hours worked.
