You can easily delete shifts from the planning. In this article you can learn about several ways to do this.
⚠️ Note: A deleted shift cannot be restored, including its changelog. Please consider carefully before permanently deleting shifts.
Delete a single shift
Open the shift you want to delete.
In the window that opens, click 'Delete'.
Select multiple shifts
In each view of the planning you can select and remove multiple shifts. We recommend the view 'Planning as a table' in case you want to remove a larger number of shifts, as here you are for example able to select an entire month instead of one week.
Planning 'per team' or 'per member'
In these planning views, go to 'Tools' (top right) and then select 'Edit multiple shifts'. You can select shifts individually or multiple shifts at once:
At the top of the page, click the date to select all shifts for that day.
Click the week number (top left) to select all shifts for the entire week.
Planning per team: Select a team on the left, to select all shifts for that team (see image below).
Planning per team member: Select a team member on the left to select all shifts for that team member.
Planning 'as a table'
At the top of the left column, you can select all currently displayed shifts. In case you have grouped the data, you can select one or more groups.
Delete multiple shifts at once
To delete selected shifts, follow these steps:
Select the shifts you want to delete (see steps above).
Use the blue button that appears at the bottom of your screen.
Choose 'Delete':
Now confirm this action by clicking the red 'Delete' button. The shifts will be deleted immediately and cannot be restored.
Delete all shifts for one week
Open either 'Planning per team' or 'per member',
Go to 'Tools' (top right).
Select 'Clear this week'.
Select the teams you wish to clear from this week's schedule.
⚠️ Note: You can also delete the shifts for one team and keep the rest.
🚨 There are still shifts in the past?
This is because there are worked hours submitted for these shifts. Read more about what this means here. If you want to delete these shifts, you will first need to remove the hours from the time registration.
