At the end of your shift it is important that you submit your worked hours for the time registration. Not all employers use this functionality, but if they do, this guide explains how it works.
β οΈ Note: You do not have to do this if you use Eitje's clocking system. Read more about it in the next article.
Your hours:
In the app, go to the planning section in the bottom left corner (clock icon).
Go to 'Hours'.
Select a period, either current or past.
This overview shows your worked hours, leave, and sick leave. You can find this for the past six months.
At the top, in red, you can see whether you still need to confirm any worked hours.
The blue frame displays your total hours first, followed by the number of hours that have not yet been approved. Tap to view more details.
Submit worked hours
Submit hours in the app:
Tap the red frame for an overview of unsubmitted hours. These are your worked shifts according to the schedule.
Open a worked shift and make changes if needed - for example, adjust the end time if you worked longer than scheduled.
You can add a note if you like.
Choose 'Submit hours' when finished.
In the overview, these hours will now show as 'Pending' in orange.
As soon as a manager has approved the hours, they will turn green and will show as 'worked'.
π‘ Tip: In case your employer allows you to add hours that were not scheduled, use the + icon in the top right corner to add these hours.
Submit hours in the web version:
When using Eitje's web version, you can also submit your worked hours as a team member. You find it in your profile (under 'Team' in the main menu on top). Here you will not find a complete overview of your hours like in the app, it only allows you to submit worked hours. Click here for more information.
To view an overview of approved hours, please use the app. The app provides this information for up to six months back. If you need information from earlier periods, please contact your employer for an overview.
